December 2020 Market Update
On behalf of the team, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for this next year!
2020 is coming to a close and it has been quite the year, to say the least. We’ve all had ups and downs, highs and lows, hardship and happiness, and we’ve seen resilience. The real estate market is not all that different.
Here’s a quick market update for the end of 2020:
Our active inventory is about 4362. This is lower than usual (typically between 5000 - 6000 for the size of our city), so this is good news.
There have been 144 conditional sales and 307 homes that have sold in the last 7 days. For December, this is really good news.
As a buyer, there is still lots of opportunity — interest rates are low, there's enough inventory to choose from, and there's some great deals out there right now.
As a seller there's also opportunity. With the current lack of inventory, there's opportunity for selling because there's less competition.
With all this in mind, there’s opportunity regardless if you’re buying or selling.
Our team works with condos, residential, land, acreage, and commercial properties — there's nothing that we don't do. Whether you’re a first time buyer or have been investing for years, we’d love to work with you. We want the power of our team to work for you. Our goals for our clients are to always support them, serve them, and to be a valuable resource. We want to be advisors, and to help people make good decisions and maximize their investments.
It doesn’t matter what situation you’re in, what season of life, or where you’re moving from. We have dealt with all situations and we can help define and navigate a road map, no matter if it’s a month or years down the road.
Once again, Merry Christmas from our team! We hope all of your families are safe, happy, and doing well over this Christmas season. We want to wish you all very well into this new year — we’re hoping it’s going to be an amazing 2021.
